Sales/Account Associate
Part-Time status

To provide and deliver to our wholesale customers a wide selection of fresh, local, in-season, nutrient-dense produce from an abundance of local growers.
Purpose of this position
As a Sales and Account Associate, you are passionate about local food and growers and relationship-driven sales. This role will focus on managing existing and obtaining new wholesale accounts, growing our employer-based CSA program, and securing new partnerships. This is a part-time position 10-15 hours per week with flexible work conditions – remote, road, and/or office.
Education/Experience
- Food Sales & Account Management Experience (2+ years preferred)
- Knowledgeable about food and farming in Northern Michigan
Job Duties Include
- Identify and secure new wholesale accounts, including restaurants, schools, and grocery stores.
- Develop strategies to increase CSA memberships through marketing and outreach with employer groups.
- Educate potential buyers on the benefits of local food sourcing.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale customers.
- Work closely with customers to anticipate their needs and preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve any account issues.
- Work with the operations team to forecast demand and manage inventory.
- Track sales performance and analyze market trends to drive revenue growth.

Compensation
Base Commission: $12.50 per hour
Commission: Paid Monthly
2.5% for all existing account volumes
5% for all new accounts volumes for 12 months then 2.5% after.
