Earth Steward Crew Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate landscaping activities. The ideal candidate will lead and assist a team in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring they are executed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
– Supervise, direct and work with crew members in daily tasks
– Maintain and build landscapes according to project plans
– Perform landscape maintenance including plant care and irrigation
– Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards

-Communicates with clients, project manager, designer – working as a team
– Train new team members on proper techniques and safety procedures

Skills
– Strong leadership abilities to effectively guide and motivate a team
– Proficiency in landscape construction practices and landscape maintenance
– Ability to supervise crew members and delegate tasks accordingly
– Knowledge of pruning, irrigation systems, and general landscaping techniques including paver patios, retaining walls, stair construction, planting, drainage, rain gardens, fences etc…

-Spanish is a plus

– Knowledge of permaculture or regenerative agriculture a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

• Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (Required)
• Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
