Succeed with Small-Scale Biogas WORKSHOP
A GIFT FOR YOU AND FOR OUR PLANET
Want to reduce your waste-stream and your carbon footprint, while producing energy and fertilizer on-site to become more resilient? Have you taken the PDC and want to work through the process of actually implementing a small scale biogas on a permaculture level? Do you want to connect with other activists supporting the adoption of small scale biogas? Kathy Puffer specializes in teaching folks how to design, build and operate a biodigester in her Succeed with Small-Scale Biogas online program, and it’s open for enrollment.
Kathy is a professional educator who is also a certified permaculture designer and teacher who has specialized in holistic biogas design and education. She’s spent over 10 years teaching hands-on in the U.S., Belize, and in Haiti; in the field, in Universities, with learners of all ages. Since COVID, she’s also been teaching online. She knows how to make learning accessible and engaging!
Kathy is passionate about small-scale biogas because it enables her to produce her own energy and fertilizer, which has taken her homesteading to a whole new level of resilience and self-sufficiency; while also reducing her family’s carbon footprint. She was even recognized at the World Biogas Summit in March 2023 with the Women in Biogas award, and her Biogas Education Hub was awarded second place in the Educational Campaign of the Year category.
Other biogas courses focus on technological info about biogas only. Instead, in this program Kathy shows you how to design your biogas system for your unique context and use case, and integrate it into a Whole Systems design. As a woman and busy mom, she focuses on super practical applications of biogas at the home and community scale, wherever you live on planet Earth.
The next Succeed with Small-Scale Biogas cohort starts August 28, 2024. This program includes a 12-module course and workbook that you can keep forever, and bi-weekly live coaching sessions for three months, so you have incentive to jump in and apply everything you learn–the aim of this program is for you to actually actually get your system running! And, since working with biogas is learning how to tend your “herd” of methane-producing microbes, you also remain a member of our online community for a year, so you have the best conditions for success.
The program runs only twice per year. For this cohort, enrollment is open August 5 to the 27th Note that there is a 20% discount for early birds who sign up before August 19th!
The program is super affordable, at $150 for individuals, and $200 for households (i.e., two adults in the same house, and up to 3 minor children. You share one login account) because, hey, there’s a climate crisis and many of us want to do our part to transition off fossil fuels and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
Note that there is a discount for early birds who sign up before August 19th!
