Sacred Flow: A Water Workshop

Learn to read living water with Starhawk during long weekend intensive at her ranch in the stunning Cazadero hills of Sonoma county.

We’ll practice hands-on stream restoration and erosion control in a framework that honors water as the sacred, life-giving force it is.

Together we’ll learn to read the rhythm and pulse of flowing water, to heal disturbed and incised stream beds and hillside erosion, and to build small rock dams, brush dams, and beaver-dam analogs.

You’ll also tour the ranch’s water systems- storage, ponds, roof catchment and drip irrigation.

We’ll start each day with ritual, work and play together throughout the day with time for just being in a beautiful natural setting, and share stories, songs and water ceremonies in the evenings.

Diversity scholarships, payment plans, work/trade and sliding scale tuition are offered to make this course more accessible to all.
