The world needs medicinal forests wherever trees will grow! Everywhere on earth can grow their own medicines. During this workshop, Michael Pilarski will help us look at native and non-native, trees, shrubs and herbs that can be used in gardens and medicinal forests in the Maritime Pacific Northwest. No two systems will be exactly the same. Each parcel of land is unique as are the humans who work with the land. Michael will help guide you through the process of selecting species, layout, and establishment. Medicinal forests can also be food forests since many edible plants also have medicinal properties.
