Food Forest Workshop w/ Quivira Coalition

INTERESTED IN FOOD FORESTS?

Friday, June 15, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Española, NM

Join us for a workshop with Flowering Tree Permaculture Institute. The first half of the day, we’ll immerse ourselves in the 35-year old food forest at Roxanne Swentzell’s home in Santa Clara Pueblo, and learn how she stewarded this unique ecosystem. In the afternoon, we’ll move to the San Pedro Homesite in Española to traverse the grounds to observe the ecosystem and interactions between land, light, wind and water. We’ll work together to plant a permaculture guild – the seed of a food forest.
