Earthen Plaster Workshop

Come learn the amazing techniques of Earthen Plaster.

Learn natural plastering techniques for earthen and conventional structures. This workshop will cover material selection (focusing on locally sourced materials), applications, and hands-on experience. Participants will learn how to locate and find materials that can be used to create beautiful non-toxic plasters.

Taught by:

Kashi Albertsen, has lived in Humboldt county for nearly 30 years. She has been studying and practicing permaculture for several decades. She is passionate about using locally sourced, natural materials to create structures that make the most of the elements for maximum comfort and beauty.

Aelia Perrin, is an avid gardener, forager, and hobby carpenter who is always finding new and creative ways to bring mud indoors. She has covered many walls in her house with clay-based paints and plasters, and is eager to share her love for them.

Levon Durr, is a certified permaculture practitioner and teacher. He has been teaching permaculture and natural building for over 25 years. Levon loves the beauty of natural building and the joy it brings to people.
