Permaculture Food Forest Patch Design

Permaculture Food Forest Patch Design – June 13 & 14 2026

$250.00

Food forests offer a diverse bounty of yields for the homestead. Created through mimicking the layers of a natural forest ecosystem, plants found in a food forest are chosen to support one another’s needs for nutrients, pollination, mulch, and attracting beneficial insects.

Join us on our farm in Kalkaska, MI to learn about designing a small garden for food and medicine using the permaculture food forest design approach! Hands-on opportunity for learning site prep, design, and installation through creating a <800 ft² food forest design- from start to finish in one weekend! Leave ready to create your own “Garden of Eden”.

  • All meals included, made with locally-sourced small farm ingredients

  • Rustic camping included on site for participants!

Fee: $250 (payment plan available)
