What You’ll Do
Detailed hand-weeding and garden bed maintenance
Fine pruning ornamental shrubs and small trees
Planting and maintaining flowerpots and vegetable gardens
Deadheading and general plant care
Plant health monitoring and organic treatments
Working independently at residential properties across the South Shore
Required Experience
Strong candidates will have several of the following:
1 + year professional gardening or horticulture experience
Solid plant identification skills (weeds vs ornamentals)
Pruning knowledge and proper tool use
Ability to work efficiently without supervision
High attention to detail and pride in quality work
Experience with fine residential properties preferred
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 40–50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Able to maintain steady physical work throughout the day
Requirements
Reliable and punctual
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Professional attitude with clients and coworkers
Pay
$20–$25/hour depending on experience
Potential for routine performance bonuses throughout the season
Schedule
Seasonal: Spring through Fall
Full-time and part-time positions available
Monday–Friday, early starts
