Why Your Support Matters
PINA’s work is vital for the future of our planet. By educating youth and empowering communities with permaculture’s holistic approach, we help reverse climate change through better leadership, regenerative farming, wildland restoration, and stronger local food systems.
Our projects show practical solutions to today’s most urgent threats: fire, flood, drought, and storms—disasters that drive war, migration, and economic instability. These challenges demand fresh thinking about root causes and rapid, systemic responses.
With proper support, permaculture offers nature-based, design-driven answers that can reshape communities and ecosystems for lasting resilience. But without funding, these solutions may arrive too late for many.
Your support of this fundraiser is an investment in a livable, healthy future. By helping us reach our $50,000 goal, you ensure PINA continues its mission—expanding outreach, enhancing education, and supporting projects that build a thriving, regenerative world for generations to come.

Craving Adventure?
Bid on luxury vacation packages—to visit Ireland, Costa Rica, or Italy’s Amalfi Coast in high style. Silent auction items also include gift baskets featuring regional specialties.
This FUNdraising event and auction supports the Permaculture Institute of North America (PINA). As the leading body for permaculture education and holistic design in North America, PINA empowers communities through practical, ethical solutions for regeneration.
We’re building a vibrant hub in Western PA, based on decades of work by PINA principals Darrell Frey, Peter Bane, and Elizabeth Lynch. Regional efforts already span wildfire resilience in Oregon and Colorado, youth-led wildland restoration in BC, permaculture films in Guatemalan villages, school gardens in Florida, and neighborhood food systems in Colorado Springs.
In Houston, PINA supported the training of urban youth in permaculture careers. In Alberta, we’ve funded engineering for shelter resilience. Across the continent, we’re restoring land, uplifting communities, and growing the next generation of regenerative leaders.
Now we are asking for your support to expand this essential work.
PINA brings integrated solutions for landscapes, people, and climate to communities across North America and Hawaii. We invite you to partner with us to advance this urgently needed transformation.

“Your attendance is more than a seat at the table; it’s a commitment to the future of healthy food and greener landscapes for everyone. If you can help us raise $50,000 or more, PINA and its western PA partners can keep turning problems into solutions for a healthier, more resilient world. We invite you to be part of something truly special—an event that nourishes both body and soul.”
