Living Landscape Technician

Help us install and maintain sensational outdoor living spaces! The work for this position entails:

• Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, herbs, garden installation.
• Hardscaping including excavation, natural stone work, paver installations, and retaining walls.
• Maintenance of edible landscapes, food forests, fruit trees, pollinator flower gardens, medicinal herb gardens, etc.
• Construction of raised garden beds, compost bins, chicken coops, and other wood structures.
• Weeding, mulching, adding compost, pruning, gardening, and general plant care.
• Ensuring efficient, orderly, and diligent operations by keeping jobsites clean and organized.

  Somebody who demonstrates and practices humility
• Passion for the work and our mission
• Emotional intelligence and ability to communicate and cooperate with others on fast-paced job sites.
• A valid driver’s license so you can drive company trucks
• Ability to work well independently or with others
• Physical and mental fitness; the work is physically challenging – must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout a day.
• Bees, poison ivy, spiders, snakes, and thorns are all common in this work. You must be willing to face these challenges in a safe and effective manner.

Expectations:

• 6:30am – 5pm General Working Hours Tuesday – Friday
• Seasonal Work – Last Week of March through First Week of December

Compensation Package:

• $17 – $25/hour
• Profit Sharing after 1 year of employment
• $100/month wellness stipend (gym, mental health, etc.)
• $300 stipend for job-related education
