Plant Walk and Workshop with Michael Pilarski “Skeeter”
You will walk park trails & talk about the plants you meet. He will introduce the main edible and medicinal plants found in western Washington. Topics include: identification, optimal harvesting times, tools of the trade, drying & processing, and sustainable practices. Come dressed for the weather. The Rainshadow Hall will serve as an indoor dry space to use if needed.

Michael “Skeeter” Pilarski is a naturalist, farmer and educator with 45 years of experience. He has been commercially wildcrafting medicinal plants for 26 years. He writes and teaches about ethnobotany, wildcrafting, farming, seed collecting, permaculture, forestry & ecosystem restoration.
